I only started appreciating the Philippines when I left for Canada, four years ago. I saw its richness from looking at a distance. The land of the shamelessly curious, lawless and free. Her streets filled with crazy driving, people from North America can only catch a glimpse of in action movies. A place where people's lives are more dramatic than those soap operas they're so fond of watching. I've missed you, Philippines. It feels great to be home.
