KAMI is a free intensive 12-week arts and culture immersion program that empowers femme Filipino/a/x femme and non-binary artists ages 19-24. The participants develop their artistic practice through workshops by professional artists and field trips and through mentorship specific to their interests to expand their knowledge on multidisciplinary practices and diasporic Filipino/a/x culture. KAMI means “we” in Tagalog and is also short for “kamiseta” (shirt). Like a favourite shirt, KAMI strives its name to be worn with pride to define SINO KAMI (WHO WE ARE).
