Congratulations twice to local Chinese and Filipino Canadian artists, and friends of Kapisanan, Lena Lee & Dean Vargas!
First because they are getting married this August! Second for finishing their short film “Castle in the Sky” for which they won the Charles Street Video and Reel pitch competition at the Reel Asian Film Festival last year in the Professional Category.

They are handing in the film just before their wedding, but it will not screen until this year’s Reel Asian film fest in November. I can't wait to see it.
