Another Story Bookshop, KAPISANAN, and Makulay atbp present: Tkaronto book launch of Hilot Means Healer

Set in Manila, Philippines during World War II and drawn from the long tradition of Philippine folklore, legends, and Indigenous spirituality. This story explores the unexpected bonds formed during cataclysmic change, as a family attempts to heal soul wounds born from atrocities and occupation, through the touch of plants and hope found in the garden of a healer.

Join playwright, Jo SiMalaya Alcampo in conversation with Jen Maramba (Tulay Araw), artist & healer.
