About
Kapisanan Philippine Centre for Arts & Culture is a multiple award-winning charitable community organization based in Toronto. While rooted in a long legacy of serving Filipino-Canadian youth, Kapisanan has evolved into an intergenerational cultural home where people of all ages—youth, newcomers, emerging artists, families, and elders—can gather, create, and belong.
We continue to champion young people as they explore identity, build confidence, and activate their creativity, but now within a broader community ecosystem that values shared learning across generations. At Kapisanan, we remove barriers to participation and create culturally grounded spaces where Filipino/a/x communities can connect to heritage, express their stories, and realize their full creative potential—together.
Mission
Kapisanan Philippine Centre for Arts & Culture nurtures community through education on Philippine arts and culture by providing meaningful opportunities for engagement, exploration and evolution.
Vision
Kapisanan Philippine Centre for Arts & Culture envisions a world where Philippine arts and culture are shared for community enrichment and education.
