A Night of Poetry and Prose with Patria Rivera

Join KAPISANAN Philippine Centre for Arts & Culture for an intimate evening of poetry, prose, conversation, food, and community with acclaimed Filipino Canadian writer Patria Rivera, as part of KAPISANAN’s Edge of KLWKN Lit Series.

Moderated by Jennilee Austria-Bonifacio, the evening will celebrate Rivera’s literary work and invite us into a conversation about writing, memory, migration, and the stories we carry across generations.

Bring a book, help build a library

We’re also turning this gathering into a book donation drive in support of a mobile library in the Philippines. Attendees are encouraged to bring books to donate and help stories continue travelling beyond the walls of the bookstore.

Food and refreshments will be generously provided by Tita Flips, with vegetarian options available.

This is a FREE community event, but registration is encouraged as space is limited.
