JUNIOR Coordinator Program
The Junior Coordinator Program at Kapisanan is a volunteer internship that allows young people and emerging professionals to focus their volunteer hours into acquiring and enhancing skills while working under the direction of professional mentors. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain invaluable professional experience with a vibrant and growing organization! KAPISANAN Coordinator positions include: Marketing and Communications/Public Relations, Communication Design, Video Production, Arts Administration, Event Planning, and Arts Programs.

Cooperative Education Student Placement (High School and College/University)
This planned learning experience through KAPISANAN allows for high school students to earn credits toward their diploma. This placement can be arranged through Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) and Toronto District School Board (TDSB).
Cooperative Education Student Placement for University and College students is also available. When applying, please indicate at the start of your volunteer or intern application.
Volunteer Program through Organizing Committees
Do you want to get volunteer hours towards your high school diploma? Do you want to give back to your community? You can focus your volunteer hours towards being a part of an Organizing Committee (Outreach, Fundraising, Gallery, Events), where you can help build Kapisanan's impact in the community, and at the same time, learn how to get organized and meet amazing new people!

We welcome volunteers of all ages! You can contribute to Kapisanan and our Board of Directors by joining an Organizing Committee, and we also welcome individuals who wish to mentor youth, facilitate workshops, apply expertise in managing events and volunteers and more.

A contribution of $75 to the Volunteer Program gives an intern a chance to undergo real world experience in their chosen committees and programs!
Kapisanan is a brave space which integrates an anti-oppression framework for young Filipinos to express their voices, exchange ideas and explore their roots together as an empowered community.
