In the mood for theatre? Sulong Theatre is serving up an eight-performance run of Eating With Lola. You may remember when Kapisanan presented this play in 2011. This time around, the critically acclaimed play will raise funds for Brave New Girls Retreats, which hosts quarterly retreats for diverse queer femmes of colour from across Turtle Island.

Kapwa Collective is hosting KAPWA: On Screen. Film fans can enjoy this inaugural screening featuring short films by emerging artists from Canada and the Philippines and a feature by Auraeus Solito, internationally acclaimed filmmaker and Indigenous Peoples rights advocate.

Allaboutmac is celebrating their third year in the business servicing Mac computers as well as the opening of Jeffrey Studio, an independent graphic design studio based in Toronto which specializes in brand identity design. This party will be decked with wine, food, music, and art, but what we're most looking forward to is the opportunity to play with vintage Macs!

Pineapple Express is a three-day shop/event promoting Philippine indigenous culture & traditions. Hosted by Miracle Thieves, this event is being held to support the artistic, cultural, social & political efforts of local Toronto artist family Jennifer Maramba, Alex (JR) Punzalan, and Kawayan Punzaramba. In February, they will be returning to their motherland of the Philippines to continue a cultural exchange with T’boli community in Lake Sebu, Mindanao, Philippines.
