You Were Missed at Kapisanan's 5th Annual Parol Workshop!

Debbie Celis, KAPISANAN's Event and Social Enterprise Coordinator, poses with herfamily and their completed parols.

Thanks to everyone who came out to enjoy, support and check out KAPISANAN's 5th Annual Parol Workshop. We hope your parols are hanging brightly in your homes, just in time for the holiday season!

KAPISANAN would also like to express a huge THANK YOU to the workshop’s facilitators Tim Manalo and Kristina Guison for donating their time and artistic expertise!

We still have some skeletons left over, so in case you missed the workshop, please feel free to visit KAPISANAN during our office hours to make one of your own to take home!

Come by the K at 167 Augusta Avenue, on Wednesdays and Thursdays, between 12pm and 5pm. We'll set up a space for you to work, and you will have access to our materials. (A suggested $5 will go toward covering the cost of materials and will help fund KAPISANAN programming.) Don't forget to email us ( or call us (416.979.0900) beforehand to let us know you'll be stopping by!

In the meantime, check out some photos from the event!
