Represent! Renna Reddie: Filipino-Canadian Theatre Producer

Renna Reddie, Filipino-Canadian Theatre ProducerRenna Reddie, Carlos Bulosan Theatre's General Manager

Meet Renna Reddie. She's the General Manager for Carlos Bulosan Theatre, KAPISANAN's community partner (to refresh your memory, CBT produced Shotgun Wedding, written by Len Cervantes)!

When Renna's not sharing her baon with us when she's here at the K, she produces theatre shows in and around Toronto. No big deal. Her latest baby is producing Morro and Jasp Gone Wild, which premiered last week at the Theatre Passe Muraille.

A sold-out opening night for Morro and Jasp Gone Wild, at Theatre Passe Muraille Backspace

Morro and Jasp, which originally premiered at the 2010 Toronto Festival of Clowns, is about a clown duo on Spring Break. The show is very interactive, and there is nothing off limits or inappropriate. The show goes on until March 26, 2011

  • Where: Theatre Passe Muraille Backspace 16 Ryerson Avenue Toronto, ON
  • When: March 15 - 26, 2011 Tuesday - Saturday 7:30pm Saturday Matinee 2:30pm

Check out more photos from the opening night afterparty, and make sure to go see the show! I guarantee that it's laugh-out-oud funny!
