Volunteer call-out for Excavations (Ang Arkeolohiya): A CLUTCH Exhibit

"Those who can, do. Those who can do more, volunteer." - Author Unknown

What do Willy Wonka & Santa Claus have in common? They both have an army of eager sidekicks to help run their respective projects. Without the Oompa Loompas, Willy Wonka wouldn't be able to run his Chocolate Factory; and without the Little Helper Elves, Santa wouldn't be able to make magic happen on Christmas morning.

KAPISANAN PHILIPPINE CENTRE FOR ARTS & CULTURE is gearing up for the Opening Reception of CLUTCH Volume 3: Excavations (Ang Arkeolohiya). And we need YOUR help to make it a success!

What can you do as a volunteer? Volunteers are responsible for several tasks including, but not limited to the following:

- helping our CLUTCH artists, Michaela and Lyndel mount their exhibit - promoting the event - acquiring a mailing list of guests from the event - being a door greeter to guests - selling merchandise - helping with clean-up before, during and after the event - and more

We need volunteers for the week leading up to, and including the opening reception of Excavations. The dates are as follows: March 14 (Monday) March 15 (Tuesday) March 16 (Wednesday) March 17 (Thursday) March 18 (Friday) March 19 (Saturday)

To get acquainted with each other, we will be having a Volunteer Orientation on Friday, March 11, at 6:00 pm. Feel free to bring your friends who are also interested in volunteering!

Volunteering to fill your community service hours for school? KAPISANAN can sign off on community volunteer hours, should any high school students need it as a requirement for graduation. We will also track volunteer hours and offer references for completed volunteer work.

Interested? Email Kat at kat@kapisanancentre.com with subject line "Clutch Volunteer," and let us know your availability. See you at the Volunteer Orientation!

Be Inspired! Pass this on to a friend!
