Artist as Entrepreneur Facilitated by Christopher Davies

This workshop will allow you to access the standards of business structures to successfully start up and sustain your own businesses in the arts/media/culture sector.
About the Facilitator: Christopher Davies graduated from the Music Business Management Program/entertainment Administration program from Durham College. His expertise lies in building a business foundation under arts and entertainment of all sorts.
After graduating, Christopher managed indie bands and found himself seeking even more of the business end of the arts and entertainment industry.
Since then Christopher has worked as a contracted Branding Coordinator (developing press kits) and Manager for a concert venue. He is currently a Financial Consultant with Investors Group, but has not left the entertainment industry completely. He continues to work with a promotions company and develops shows all around the Durham area.
With over seven years in the arts and entertainment industry, Christopher has been a part of running more than eight art and music festivals, close to1,000 concerts and part of many large successes.
