Carlos Bulosan Theatre, KAPISANAN's community partner, will be holding a fundraiser dinner on September 23, 2009 at the Revival (783 College St.). There will be performances by Bag of Trix/Apex, Jesse Catibog of So You Think You Can Dance, Sick.Sound.Syndrome, Santa Guerrilla, Maylee Todd, August Danny, Kierscey Rand, and Romeo Candido as well as a spoken word performance by Len Cervantes.
Also watch out for play readings from Harana by Regina Simon and Shotgun Wedding by Len Cervantes.
This year will also be the first presentation of the Fely Award.
The event will be hosted by Tito Awesome & Caliente.
