Santa Guerrilla, the KAPISANAN in-house music and performance collective that merges indigenous Filipino instruments and melodies with contemporary rhythms and swagger, is having a FREE performance this Saturday, 8 pm at Yonge-Dundas square as part of the Filipinos Making Waves Festival. Come! The experience will be an electric shock to the head, akin to watching that drumming gorrilla, only mas may kabuluhan (more contextualized). And, dare I say it, sweeter??
