by Leonard The Making Waves Festival returns to Toronto this weekend and it's at Ontario Place/CNE. So, while on your way to the Food Building for that annual fix of cheese steaks, Tiny Tim donuts and Pogos... why not drop by the Making Waves Kids Zone?
KPC will be running the Kids Zone in the South Beach area of Ontario Place on Sunday, August 17 from 3-6pm. There will be Face Painting from 3-5 by Jaime Miranda of Little Me, and the participants of CLUTCH will be running a giant Sungka game.
For all you older kids (that means the rest of us), the Youth Waves segment of the Festival will feature a performance that mixes Spoken Word, Live Music and Visual Art, featuring JR Punzalan, Myk Miranda and Jen Maramba.
Other highlights include: Banana-Q, Pork BBQ, David Pomeranz and Pussycat Doll Almost-Was Melissa Reyes, who is doing her Toronto stop on the Filipino Cultural Festival Tour of North America.
